Dánae Olano wraps up the PEC Jazz Festival with an evening of fabulous piano driven, Cuban flavoured jazz. Dánae was born and raised in the musical melting pot of Havana, Cuba. She is best known in North America as a founding member of the all-female band “Jane Bunnett and Maqueque”.

Dánae, the band’s pianist, also sings, composes, and arranges for this renowned ensemble. She has performed in jazz clubs such as Birdland, The Blue Note, and Bimhuis, as well as at top festivals including the Monterrey, Newport, and Saratoga Jazz Festivals.
